Alexis, known to many as Lexi, and Michael matched on Tinder in 2017 while attending UCF. They ended up at Smokey Bones for their first date — which lasted over three hours — bonding over Star Wars, Marvel, travelling, sports, and more. A month later, they made it official. Through living on opposite sides of central Florida and opposite work schedules, they spent as much spare time as they could together. Lexi shared her love of her home beach-town St. Petersburg, and Michael introduced her to the beauty of Pittsburgh, PA.

In 2018, Michael decided he wanted to adopt a dog, their sweet boy Kylo, who they welcomed home in June of that year. Since then, their lives have been nothing short of puppy cuddles, theme parks, movie dates, travelling and other adventures. In 2020, they moved in to their first home together.

On December 31, 2021, Michael popped the question. Knowing Lexi’s love for French culture & the holiday season, he treated Lexi to lunch at a local French café named Rosalie in downtown Winter Garden. Afterwards he escorted her over to the big Christmas tree on display outside, where his friend was waiting for them with her camera. Lexi soon became overwhelmed with emotion & happiness and said “yes” to her best friend.

They can’t wait to celebrate their love with their friends & family, and start their new chapter together.
